Maybach Music Group is a record label founded by rapper Rick Ross, previously owned by Def Jam Recordings, and now owned by Warner Bros. Records.
Maybach Music Group released its first album in 2009 being Rick Ross's Deeper Than Rap after the release Rick Ross focused more on signing artists to his label then Triple C's was founded. He signed Gunplay (born Richard Morales) from Miami, Torch (born Kevin Belnavis) from the Bronx, and Young Breed to Maybach Music Group and released his label's second studio album and being Triple C's debut albumCustom Cars & Cycles. Then in 2010 Rick Ross released Teflon Don. Also Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group label will release another album titled Color, Cut & Clarity by Triple C's. In 2010 Rick Ross made a deal with rapper Wiz Khalifa to sign to Maybach Music Group but they turned it down and signed with Atlantic instead.
